The MegaMat Duo Medium is 72 × 41.3 × 4 in of cored open-cell foam with vertical sidewalls, so the full width is usable. It is rated R-value 8.1, weighs 7.4 lb and comes with a pump to top up firmness. The stretch tricot top is quieter and softer than PVC pads.
R 8.1 is warm enough for winter in a tent or a rooftop tent, and 4 inches of foam smooths out a wheel-well hump.
